Many faculty are already doing some version of this work without knowing it has a name. This session introduces the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) by situating it within a broader spectrum, from everyday reflection on teaching to systematic inquiry into student learning, experience or success. We’ll discuss where SoTL fits, what makes it distinct, where you see yourself on that spectrum now and where you might want to go next.

This live, virtual workshop is a part of the Teaching and Learning Inquiry series co-facilitated by Dr. Caroline Boswell (Delphi Center for Teaching & Learning) and Dr. Angela Thompson (J.B. Speed School of Engineering).
