DESCRIPTION:Many faculty are already doing some version of this work withou
 t knowing it has a name. This session introduces the Scholarship of Teachi
 ng and Learning (SoTL) by situating it within a broader spectrum, from eve
 ryday reflection on teaching to systematic inquiry into student learning, 
 experience or success. We’ll discuss where SoTL fits, what makes it dist
 inct, where you see yourself on that spectrum now and where you might want
  to go next.\n\nThis live, virtual workshop is a part of the Teaching and 
 Learning Inquiry series co-facilitated by Dr. Caroline Boswell (Delphi Cen
 ter for Teaching & Learning) and Dr. Angela Thompson (J.B. Speed School of
  Engineering).
