Please join us at the MFA Galleries on Saturday February 21, for the opening reception of Poke. This exhibition explores the potentials of natural dying with Pokeberry as a metaphor for resistance and a catalyst for transformative change. Poke studies ideas of ecological entanglements and how a commitment to the accessibility of such wisdoms fit together like the patches of quilt. Asking us to reflect on our resources and carve a path forward where community engagement works in tandem with environmental education to shape a better future.
