Micro/Nano Technology Center Presentation

EVENT

Event Details

Please join us for a presentation highlighting the Micro/Nano Technology Center (MNTC) and the research cores that support its mission. The MNTC boasts a cutting-edge, $30 million, 10,000-square-foot cleanroom dedicated to the fabrication of micro- and nano-scale devices and materials. It also features a highly competitive Imaging and Characterization core facility as well as a successful and rapidly expanding BioEM core. MNTC has been at the forefront of groundbreaking research, innovation, and educational initiatives at the University of Louisville.

This session will provide a clear overview of the MNTC’s history and organizational structure. We will also showcase some of the newest additions to our laboratory capabilities, including Light Sheet Microscopy and Dilution Refrigeration. The session will conclude with a look at recent research projects that demonstrate the center’s capabilities, along with a forward‑looking discussion on emerging opportunities and critical areas for future research.
