The Office of Research and Innovation invites you to the inaugural monthly seminar of the Louisville Organoid Research Network. Dr. Christie Buonpane, Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery (Pediatric Division), School of Medicine will deliver a seminar titled: "Human-Derived Organoids and New Approach Methodologies: Applications, Opportunities, and Future Directions." The seminar will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 3:00 pm ET, in CTRB 123 and via Teams.
Following this inaugural seminar on April 22, the monthly series will be held on the 2nd Tuesdays of every month at 3 p.m.
The Louisville Organoid Research Network was launched in February 2026 to connect UofL researchers working with or interested in organoids and human-relevant model systems. To join the Network's listserv and receive invitations to the monthly seminars and Network updates, follow the following steps:

2. Leave the subject line blank
3. In the body of the message, type:
