KAF’s last forum of the season is scheduled Thursday, May 7, featuring New York Times best-selling author Hampton Sides, with interview by Beto O’Rourke, former Texas congressman. Side’s book, “The Wide Wide Sea,” about the fateful account of Captain James Cook’s final voyage, will be featured.

A wine & cheese, pre-signed book sale will take place at 5 p.m. in the north lobby, followed by the 6 p.m. interview in the Bomhard Theater, with a 7 p.m. Q&A.

Discounted tickets for UofL students, faculty and staff may be purchased over the phone by mentioning UofL affiliation and showing UofL ID when picking up tickets the night of the forum (limit two tickets per order).
