Event Details

UofL's Sustainability Council invites you to join us in planting trees in the Jacobs neighborhood to the southwest of Belknap Campus!

Together we will help restore the urban canopy by planting more than 100 trees in the neighborhood within a single day.

Louisville Metro's Parks & Recreation, TreesLouisville, and Louisville Grows are teaming up to plant trees in the rights-of-way, on residential properties, and at large properties in the area.

We will provide tools and training on how to plant a tree. No experience necessary! Gloves, safety vests, and water refill station will also be provided. Please bring a water bottle and wear closed-toe shoes and weather appropriate clothing.

Lunch will be provided to all volunteers.
