UofL College of Busieinss Grant Writinig Certificate Program
Through this intensive, hands-on certificate program, you will walk away with the knowledge and skills of how to develop a competitive grant proposal.
Over three days you will draft all sections of a grant proposal, including a needs statement, goal/case statement, objectives, project description, logic model, program evaluation, budget and budget justification. You will also learn tools and techniques that will set your grant proposal apart.
This program is ideal for the beginner or intermediate grants professional working in education or a grant-ready nonprofit organization. The program will help grant-seeking become less intimidating.

Taught by experience grant writer and manager, Rebecca Crump who has more than 20 years working with all phases of grant development including proposal reviews. Currently as Director of Resource Development for the Jefferson County Schools (JCPS), Ms. Crump develops and oversees grant development for the district. JCPS is the 28th largest district in the nation with more than 100,000 students. In her position, she has primary responsibility for directing the ongoing search for external funding opportunities from federal, state, private and corporate sources. Since she joined JCPS in 2008, she has written more than 10 successful grants funded for more than $600,000. She has conducted numerous grant writing workshops over the last 10 years.
