GIS Day 2026: Navigating GeoAI Together

Event Details

Register for GIS Day 2026

Hosted by the University of Louisville Center for GIS and LOJIC

Join us in celebrating GIS Day 2026! This year's theme, "Navigating GeoAI Together: Hype, Promise, Reality," looks at how artificial intelligence is changing the way we collect, analyze, and act on geographic data, and what that means for research, government, and the communities we serve.

Hear from local leaders in academia, industry, and government as they separate the hype from what's actually working, discuss the opportunities and risks of GeoAI, and share how they're putting it to use in Louisville and beyond. The event will feature a panel discussion with audience Q&A, followed by networking.
