Dissertation Writing Retreat

If you are a current PhD student at the dissertation phase, the University Writing Center has a great opportunity to set aside dedicated time to get writing accomplished and to get strategies for improving your writing process.

The retreat will run May 11-15, each day from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. There will be opportunities for writing time, regular meetings with a writing consultant, and small group writing discussions.

Please visit our website to apply. Applications should include documentation of your dissertation progress, a letter of intent, and your advisor’s letter of support. The deadline to apply is April 4, but completed applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
