The mission of the Thomistic Institute at The University of Louisville is to promote academic discussion of the Catholic church’s intellectual tradition, placing particular emphasis on the thought of the 13th-century philosopher and theologian, Thomas Aquinas. The chapter invitesscholars from other academic institutions to The University of Louisville’s campus for lectures on philosophical and theological topics, as well has hosts a book club.
