We are a group for nonreligious (atheist, agnostic, secular, humanist, etc.) students that promotes open discussion of religion and the lack thereof, as well as secular values such as the separation of church and state. We also hope to help dispel the oftentimes negative connotation that is associated with not being religious by being active and visible on campus, as well as providing a community where students are comfortable questioning religion. The Secular Student Alliance empowers secular students to proudly express their identity, build welcoming communities, promote secular values, and set a course for lifelong activism.
