  physics which represents our present understanding of fundamental physic
 s. I will describe the fundamental particles of different flavors in the 
 standard model and discuss how they interact. I will discuss some puzzles 
 in the standard model and describe evidence beyond the standard model ph
 ysics. Finally, I will discuss how flavor experiments can probe new physic
 s beyond the standard model.\n\n
