DESCRIPTION:The Office of Research and Innovation invites you to the Novemb
 er 2026 seminar of the Louisville Organoid Research Network. Dr. Gautam Ma
 hajan (Scientific Director, Emulate, Inc.) will deliver a seminar titled: 
 “Organs-on-Chips: Microphysiological Systems for Human-Relevant Disease 
 Modeling and Drug Development.” The seminar will take place on Tuesday, 
 November 10, 2026, at 3:00 pm ET, via Teams. \n\nSpeaker Biography\n\nGau
 tam Mahajan, PhD\nScientific Director\nEmulate\n\nGautam Mahajan, PhD, is 
 Scientific Director at Emulate, Inc., where he leads efforts to translate 
 organ-on-chip technology into drug discovery and regulatory applications. 
 He trained at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering und
 er Donald Ingber, developing first-in-field human organ-chip models. His w
 ork focuses on enabling human-relevant preclinical systems for pharma and 
 agencies including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and National Inst
 itutes of Health, supporting translational decision-making and broader ado
 ption of non-animal methods.\n\n\nAbout the Louisville Organoid Research N
 etwork\n\nThe Louisville Organoid Research Network was launched in Februar
 y 2026 to connect UofL researchers working with or interested in organoids
  and human-relevant model systems. To join the Network's listserv and rece
