 taff member on September 14, 2026. Carmel Mackin had worked in the Dean’
 s office for many decades and we honor her commitment to UofL and to healt
 h.\n\nAll are invited to gather for a memorial tree planting and plaque ce
 remony in Carmel's honor.\n\nThe tree planting will take place from 1:30-1
 :45pm, followed by a reception up on the second floor of the Abell Adminis
 tration Center for those that want to share fond memories of Carmel.\n\nTh
 is is a  Louisville Tree Week and UofL Sustainability Week event!
