https://louisville.edu/writingcenterThe University Writing Center is hosting a workshop to help instructors in writing-intensive courses design or retool their syllabus for the upcoming Spring semester. We will discuss the purpose and goals of writing assignments and reflect on the genres and expectations of writing in different disciplines. The session will be facilitated by the University Writing Center Director Dr. Bronwyn Williams and Associate Director Dr. Annmarie Steffes. Topics of conversation will include strategies for introducing students to their disciplinary conventions and building students’ writing skills and confidence over the semester. The workshop will point participants to resources for themselves and their students.
Please let us know if you will be attending on our RSVP form so that we can plan.
