Come warm up with Hite’s  Winter Coffee and Art Tour in the Schneider Hall Galleries, featuring BFA candidates Rebekah Flowers and Barry Wolvin who will give short tours of their thesis work!

Artist Rebekah Flowers utilizes installation and historical photographic processes to reflect on her family’s connection to the Louisville plantation, “Farmington.” By creating a mock living room, Flowers challenges viewers to consider how history is preserved and distorted within personal and public memory. Barry Wolvin’s installation of ceramic sculptures of coral reefs and marine life address the pressing issues of climate change and plastic pollution.

Coffee Bar opens at 11:30 a.m., Tour Begins at 11:45 a.m.
