Why You Should Start Reading Wendell Berry in 2020

Gary Gregg, PhD, McConnell Center Director, and GlyptusAnn Grider Jones, McConnell Center coordinator, consider Wendell Berry's novel "Hannah Coulter." This is event is part of the center's virtual book club.

Gregg and Jones consider several themes in the novel, noting how Berry's long-standing concerns with the modern economy, the disruption of modern society to traditional economies, the production of food and living at a humane scale, are relevant to today's global pandemic.
