UofL ITS and the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) are excited to invite the university community to a special speaking event we’re hosting at the Frazier Hall, PNC Horn Auditorium on October 17, 2024, in honor of Cybersecurity Awareness Month. We’re thrilled to have a speaker from CISA, Colin Glover, joining us to share valuable insights on cybersecurity. We’d love to have students, faculty, and staff take advantage of this event as cybersecurity is an important part of our lives and is one of the many ways in which we can forge our Community of Care.

Here’s what attendees can look forward to:

  • An overview of the importance of cybersecurity in higher education and at UofL.
  • Tips on how to navigate the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape.
  • Best practices for personal and workplace cybersecurity.
  • Understanding why a strong cybersecurity culture is essential for UofL's security.

There will also be a Q&A session where attendees can ask questions. This event will lay the groundwork for understanding ongoing efforts to strengthen UofL’s cybersecurity posture.

Please RSVP by October 10, https://forms.office.com/r/1Q0HGfxx1j
