TIPS Training for Fraternity and Sorority Leaders (Cancelled)

TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) provides students with the skills and techniques they need when attending and hosting events with alcohol, and empowers students to intervene in situations where their peers are misusing alcohol. This training is provided by the BRICC Coalition and Fraternity and Sorority Life specifically for fraternity and sorority chapter leaders. Participants will learn about alcohol and its effects, intervention and legal information, develop skills in evaluating behavioral cues and intervention responses, and practice intervention responses. Participants will leave this program with a TIPS Certification that lasts for 3 years. For more information on TIPS visit www.gettips.com.
