The Power of Activism and the Vote introduces some of Louisville's remarkable African American women activists at the turn of the Twentieth Century. These women worked in support of suffrage for African Americans and women both locally and nationally, as well as for numerous educational, economic, and social improvements for Louisville's Black community.
