Paul Owen joined Actors Theatre of Louisville as Resident Designer in 1971, designing productions and theatre spaces for Actors Theatre and other theatres nationwide. In semi-retirement since 2009, he continues to design for the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival and other organizations. He donated his archive of sketches, scrapbooks and models in 2015. The archive opens for research on Aug. 11 with an exhibit of some of the sketches and models, along with a reception in Paul Owen’s honor.
