Today CaptiveAire has more than 1200 employees and 90 sales offices nationwide. Mr. Luddy has won several entrepreneurial, business, and civic awards.

Mr. Luddy is also passionate about quality education and has founded a number of schools in North Carolina, including Franklin Academy, a public charter school, St Thomas More Academy and Thales Academy, a network of private schools offering high-quality Pre-K through 12 education with affordable tuition.
