About this Event
As generative AI becomes more deeply integrated into our teaching, communication and decision-making processes, the human element of education has never been more important. This 90-minute interactive session invites faculty and staff to reflect on what makes learning and teaching fundamentally human.
Together, we will explore how authentic connection, empathy and presence shape learner motivation and belonging, and discuss strategies for sustaining these qualities in increasingly AI-mediated environments. This session also serves as a precursor to a multi-day summer event that will explore these ideas in greater depth.
This session will be a preview for the Human Connections in a Digital World conference in May.
