The Office of Research and Innovation will host a research retreat for new faculty and research scientists at the Shelby Campus Founders Union Building Ballroom on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Aimed at new faculty and research scientists who started at the University of Louisville (UofL) between July 1, 2022, through the present, the retreat will provide an opportunity to meet the Interim Executive Vice President for Research and Innovation and his leadership team.

Participants will learn how the Office of Research and Innovation supports researchers across the entire life cycle of grants, engage in a two-part interactive—collaborative activity, hear from a faculty panel of UofL researchers, and discover resources to boost their research. In addition, a networking lunch will be provided from 12 pm to 1 pm, and parking is free.

The program starts at 9:30 am and will conclude at 3:30 pm
