About this Event
110 W. Brandeis Ave. , Louisville, Kentucky 40208
http://UofLFreeEnterprise.org #MenardFamilyLectureSeriesThe pandemic influenced a major shift in the supply of labor, normalizing remote work and leaving office buildings empty or at half-capacity even after shutdowns were lifted. This change in workspace needs is requiring city centers like downtown Louisville to reinvent their identities. Join us for a panel discussion featuring commercial real estate giants who will discuss adaptive reuse of buildings in Louisville and opportunities for a downtown renaissance.
Our panel discussion will be moderated by Managing Director for CBRE's Kentucky operations David Hardy. He will be joined by panelists Chris Dischinger, owner of LDG Development; Mariah Gratz, CEO of Weyland Ventures; and Colin Underhill, President of Pluris Real Estate.
This event coincides with the launch of a new Commercial Real Estate minor in the College of Business that has been crafted in consultation with local real estate companies to address a growing talent shortage in the industry.
Reinventing Downtown Louisville is presented by the Center for Free Enterprise as part of its Menard Family Lecture Series. It is a Cardinal Flight Approved event for College of Business students and is free and open to all UofL students, faculty/staff, and the community. Pizza will be served to attendees.
