Join us for the opening Reception of our annual "Paired Influence" exhibition. Thursday January 15 from 5-7 p.m. in the Schneider Hall Galleries!

In Paired Influence, Hite Institute of Art + Design MFA Candidates select artwork from the University Collection that shares their creative interests—through materials, style or concept.  Those pieces are then paired with their own work in the gallery so viewers can explore the overlapping themes and ideas present amongst the groupings. Exploring how artists are influenced by and react to each other’s work, Paired Influence offers a glimpse at the universal styles and ideas that unite artist across time and the world.

Featuring work by students, Nahla Joy, Oliver Krueger Kristine Moss, and Michaela Weick alongside collection pieces by Edward Glannon, Paul Klee, Barry Moser, Ad Reinhardt, Utagawa Toyokuni, Sylvia Wald and more.

This event is free and open to the public! Refreshments will be served!
