Join us for the opening reception of our Collection Highlight's Exhibition "Little Fictions" Thursday January 15 from 4-6 p.m., in the Schneider Hall Galleries.
Drawing from the University of Louisville’s art collection, Little Fictions explores the role of storytelling in the visual arts. Over centuries artists have used their craft to bring myths and histories to life, explore abstract ideas, or use a landscape or portrait to reflect the mood, values, and culture of the time. Little Fictions invites viewers to explore the role of storytelling in art, consider what stories are preserved through time, and what stories you want to preserve for future generations.
