Mindfulness is a way of relating directly to whatever is happening in one’s life, consciously and systematically working with one’s own stress, pain, illness and the challenges and demands of everyday life. An introduction to mindfulness, this workshop will emphasize an attitude of non-judging experiencing of the present moment and an exploration of mindfulness practices in everyday life as a queer person. This event is part of Pride Week 2014.
