About this Event
Graduate students are at a particular risk for experiencing imposter syndrome. Commonly experienced as the feeling you don’t belong, imposter syndrome can cause stress, anxiety, lack of self-confidence, shame, and depression. Perhaps even more importantly, it can impact graduate student academic, professional, and personal development. In this session, we’ll talk about how graduate students are especially at risk for imposter syndrome, typical symptoms, and strategies to avoid and address this problem.
