About the Workshop:

In graduate school, you'll be working with a lot of readings and citations. The library can help you stay organized! In this workshop, we'll provide an overview of two citation management software programs, EndNote and Zotero, and share some tips on how to organize your sources in a literature review matrix.

Presenters:

Tessa Whithorn

Tessa Withorn is the Science Librarian at the University of Louisville. She received a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Louisville in 2015. As a faculty member, she conducts research on instructional best practices and the research practices of STEM researchers. 

Kristina Bloch

Dr. Kristina Bloch is the Engineering Librarian at the University of Louisville. She received her BA in Political Science in 2009 and her MA in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Library Science in 2011 from Tennessee Tech University. She received her second MA with an EdS in School Administration from Bellarmine University in 2014. In 2023, she received her EdD in Leadership from the College of Education at Spalding University. Before starting at UofL in February, she was a K-12 Librarian and STEM teacher for the past 13 years. Dr. Bloch has a passion for instruction, research, and student success and is excited to continue to learn and grow serving as the Engineering Librarian for UofL’s Speed School.
