In the McConnell Center's first talk of 2020, Dr. Barbara Perry will examine what professional and personal paths led O'Connor and Ginsburg to the highest court in the land, how both women have shaped the tribunal and what impact they have had on its decisions.
Perry is the Gerald L. Baliles Professor and Director of Presidential Studies at the University of Virginia's Miller Center. She is a former judicial fellow at the US Supreme Court and researcher for Chief Justice William Rehnquist.
This event is free and open to the public. No RSVP required. Seating is on a first-come basis.
