Physics professor John Kielkopf has produced a new video related to the upcoming total solar eclipse that will be screened on the Rauch Planetarium dome on Friday, April 5 at 12 noon. Entitled, "Omen on the Gnomon," the 38-minute video is also available on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Rt_ljGwtVI. All A&S faculty and students are welcome to attend this screening. Watch it to learn how we came to understand eclipses over centuries and what fundamental concepts of space and time they reveal.
