ABOUT
New Innovations in Cardiovascular medicine including Cardiothoracic surgery, critical care, Anesthesia, cardiogenic shock, and imaging. Experts in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiothoracic surgery, Intensive care, Anesthesia, and radiology will provide didactics and high yield discussions on new innovations in imaging and management for coronary heart disease, noninvasive management of structural heart disease in high-risk candidates, innovations in heart and lung transplant, contemporary management of Thoracic Aorta surgery, mechanical circulatory support for cardiogenic shock, and more. Panel discussion will be held on cardiogenic shock to update residents, fellows, critical care NP, APRNs, community anesthesiologists and cardiologists. The conference will have updates on newer anti-glycemic and weight loss medications that have overwhelmed the market and can affect anesthesia care during surgery.

This conference is free for U of L physicians, nurses, students, residents, and fellows. The cost for non-clinical U of L faculty and external physicians is $50.00. The cost for external nurses and other external health professionals (CRNA's, NP's, etc.) is $40.00
