He will discuss the practical aspects of recognizing quality in handmade glass, as well as how quality and personal sensibility relate to one another to produce value. While determining the stature of a handmade object can be an entertaining pursuit, the ways in which quality and value are determined- and by whom they are determined - affects our culture and economy in meaningful ways.
