You know the speech. It was on August 28, 1963, that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., stood before 250,000 and proclaimed, "I have a dream." A decade ago, UofL's Commission on Diversity and Racial Equity (CODRE) commemorated the 50th aniversary of the march with video reflections and a keynote address. Now, for the 60th anniversary, Ekstrom Library will showcase an exhibition to reflect on the march and CODRE's efforts, displayed from August 28 to September 8, including a video reflection in the lobby of Ekstrom Library on August 28.
