Louisville Bats, UofL Brown Cancer Center and Kentucky Cancer Program team up to fight cancer
Honor cancer survivors and enjoy great baseball at “Knock Cancer Out of the Park!” night at the Louisville Bats, celebrating cancer survivors and benefiting the M. Krista Loyd Resource Center for patient education and services.
The Louisville Bats will take on both the Mud Hens of Toledo, Ohio, AND cancer during cancer survivors’ night at Louisville Slugger Field. The evening will feature cancer screening and prevention information from the UofL James Graham Brown Cancer Center and the Kentucky Cancer Program at UofL, recognition of cancer survivors and post-game fireworks.
Proceeds from the sale of special lavender hats and game jerseys will support the M. Krista Loyd Resource Center, located on the first floor of the UofL Brown Cancer Center.
