Help us kick off Hispanic Heritage Month (Sep. 15 - Oct. 15) and join in the conversation space for the minority groups on the law school campus to discuss our place within the legal field. The event is a roundtable discussion where we contemplate and discuss our identities within the legal profession (i.e., what does it mean to be Hispanic, LGBTQI+, a person of color, etc. in the legal field? what are good ways to connect with others who identify similar within the community? what does diversity in the legal field look like and are there any microaggressions we can help educate ourselves on, especially considering identity-specific factors?). This is meant to be a "meeting of the minds," where individuals from different backgrounds and perspectives can freely share thoughts, feelings, ideas, and suggestions about the legal community and our place within it.
