Learning Cafe: Influencing peer perception in higher education

Learn the what, why and how of influencing perceptions in higher education during this presentation featuring research findings from a proprietary study conducted among higher education leaders by BVK in partnership with The Chronicle of Higher Education.

For decades, colleges and universities have kept the proverbial foot on the gas as it relates to being seen as “the best.”  But, in the wake of the pandemic and social justice movement, the world – higher ed and beyond – has shifted focus on defining what really matters. Is quality defined by prestige? Is reputation synonymous with quality?  This presentation includes information on the science of perception, the role of orderings and rankings, and what that means for gaining favor among your academic peer institutions.   More information about the presentation
