TWO WEEK: 10-DAY WORKSHOP

Six Sigma training and certification workshops hosted by UofL KY-MEP and Berea College, enable participants to dive deeper into the DMAIC process, a quality improvement and problem-solving methodology used to advance business performance.

Participants learn how to improve the efficiency of their processes while simultaneously eliminating waste. Individuals projects are incorporated into the training so participants can gain “hands-on” experience by examining improvement opportunities at their workplace.

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Understand Six Sigma and the DMAIC methodology
  • Properly scope, define, and lead Six Sigma projects
  • Transition projects from phase to phase
  • Close projects upon completion
  • Present projects to peers, managers, and leadership
  • Utilize statistical analysis to determine key inputs vs process outputs
  • Implement controls to sustain gains

During this series of workshops, participants learn how to integrate the DMAIC project management techniques to help increase skills in process optimization and continuous improvement.
