https://fabcul.memberclicks.net/changemanagementMost leaders would agree that leading a successful change initiative in any organization may be one of the most challenging tasks they will face. It strains the very relationships they spend years developing and cultivating. This course explains the two independent systems in the brain that are at work at all times. We have the emotional side; the instinctive side that feels pain and pleasure. Conversely, we have the rational side; the reflective or conscious system that deliberates, analyzes, and looks into the future. Behavioral economists refer to the two systems as the planner and the doer. We will explore the relationship between the two systems to understand the “why” we love or fear change and the role our inherent personality plays in the push-back.
This session will be led by Dr. Eric Keeling, Director of Leadership and Workforce, Kentucky Manufacturing Extension Partnership
