Is Bitcoin a Bubble?
The price of bitcoin soared from around $1,000 in mid-2017 to an astounding $19,000 at the end of that year. Today, it is around $4,000. Why has the price of bitcoin fluctuated so much, and why does it remain so valuable today? William Luther, Assistant Professor of Economics at Florida Atlantic University and Director of the Sound Money Project at the American Institute for Economic Research, will consider the fundamental value and various factors affecting bitcoin.
