The CIEHS Translational Research Support Core (TRSC) is hosting a session on the new online tool designed to help students, trainees, and researchers efficiently build Institutional Review Board (IRB)-mandated study protocals and informed consent documents.

The platform has been live for approximately one month and has already shown strong potential to standardize and simplify IRB submissions. This session will provide a practical overview of how this tool can make IRB submissions more standardized, efficient, and user-friendly.

Investigators and trainees across CIEHS, UofL Health, the School of Medicine, LCTRC, GME residents and fellows, UME medical students, graduate students, and members of other UofL schools are encouraged to attend.

Presenters include:

  • Mike Brown, Senior Director of Client Services, ProtocolBuilder
  • Christy LaDuke, IRB Director, University of Louisville
  • Rachel Sheppard, Executive Director of the Clinical Trials Unit, University of Louisville
  • Christopher Cunningham, Chief Operating Officer LCTRC, University of Louisville
  • Jiapeng Huang, Chief Scientific Officer, UofL Health, and Associate Dean for Clinical Research, University of Louisville, School of Medicine

The Center for Integrative Environmental Health Sciences (CIEHS) Translational Research Support Core (TRSC) hosts a continuing quarterly seminar series to inform UofL faculty about the resources available to support translational research. This session is an additional offering in the CIEHS quarterly seminar series. Website: https://louisville.edu/ciehs/cores/translational-research-support-core
