Mary Carothers, Professor of Fine Arts, will discuss how inclusive interactions unite visual narrative to multiple points of view as a way to negotiate meaningful content. Throughout her visual lecture she will discuss how her work as a public artist is inspired by working outside of the perimeters of traditional gallery spaces and how electronic representation, in the form of both visual image and text, holds evolving potential for community engagement, correspondence, and global interaction.
