Impact of COVID on Local Communities

On Friday (10/29) @2pm in BAB 141, Freedom in Chance will host a speaker event, on the topic of COVID and its impacts on local communities. We've invited Dr. DuPré, a public health professor in the Epidemiology and Population Health department, as our speaker for the event. Dr. DuPré will discuss how COVID has impacted local communities, connecting it to health inequities present in the country that further perpetuates the disproportional impact of COVID on minority groups. Please follow us on Engage and our instagram page (@freedominchance) for more updates about this and other events to come!
