Well-written cover letters effectively overview a candidate’s strengths and clearly demonstrate fit for an open position. This workshop will focus on the conventions of cover letters for both academic and professional jobs. We will discuss purpose and audience, provide strategies for writing multiple cover letters, and share examples from successful academic and professional job searches
