About this Event
As we celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pan-African Studies at the University of Louisville, we are celebrating a new generation of burgeoning scholars whose work reminds us that there are many ways to approach the study and influence of Pan-Africanism. The Graduate Students of the Pan-African Studies Department at UofL panel will showcase topics that range from but are not limited to the exploration and impact of Africa and the Caribbean on global culture, Black folks shaping pop culture, Black resistance, Queering Black herstory and contemporary politics, and more.
