Shannon Musselman is currently developing her own LLC based on her passion for construction and design. Shannon’s strength in this male-dominated industry is in her influence through education. At Koetter Woodworking, she taught classes to architects and distributors on best forestry practices, resulting in specified product for the expansion of Churchill Downs. From there she moved to DuPont, where she taught classes on energy efficiency and best building practices. She broadened her influence to the political arena, including the Home Builders Association of Kentucky and state code officials.

Leigh Pittman is a Director at Brown-Forman, leading the strategy for global sourcing and global business transactions. Her career has predominately been in technology strategy and delivery of programs spanning all aspects of Brown-Forman’s business including Corporate, Supply Chain, and Sales and Marketing. Prior to Brown-Forman, Leigh led teams for the implementation of investment technology and projects at Aegon, USA. One of Leigh’s contributions to young women is the recent establishment of an annual scholarship at Maryhurst. She is also leading a girl’s mentoring program for Women Influencing Louisville, in conjunction with Jefferson county Public Schools and Office of the Mayor.
