About this Event
View map Free EventDo Christians and Muslims believe in the same God? What do they believe? What happens when they die? How do they deal with suffering? How do I interact with someone from a different faith than mine? Why can’t we all just get along?
If you have these questions, you’re a part of many who wonder the same things. That’s why August 29, Cru and Northeast Christian Church, in conjunction with Peace Catalyst International, is hosting Imam Muhammad Ramadan Almoutem from the Muslim Community Center, and Christian Professor Jon Weatherly, Dean of Biblical Studies at Johnson University for a Middle East Faith Forum to have a frank and unfiltered discussion about the faiths of Islam and Christianity. The goal is to have an understanding of each faith though civil dialogue, create community and show that even though these two religions may be different, they can still interact and work together for a greater good.
