About this Event
Dr. Robert Whitford, Instructor, Department Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at UofL School of Medicine, will present "Critical Care and Management of Right Heart Failure." Attendees will: 1. be able to identify cardiogenic shock in the ED; 2. know the types of cardiogenic shock; 3. differentiate the differences in management of left and right heart failure; 4. know the causes of right heart failure; 5. know the ultrasonographic features of right heart failure of different etiologies; 6. know the management strategies for right heart failure. CME will be provided.
